I have to admit I'm not that shocked by Castle's status of could go either way. I still love the show but they are really putting the remaining fans on the fence with this whole Kate has a secret and it's breaking Castle & Beckett thing.

I am surprised Quantico is a sure thing because I find it a little to over the top and in most cases boring.

Not at all surprised that Extant is out of the picture. I gave up on the second season because it became tedious.

I am, however, surprised by Scorpion. I love the show and do watch but sometimes I find their methods of solving problems a bit out there and I've heard not at all possible. And yet it continues to entertain. Interesting.

I figured Minority Report would be canceled. It isn't very good. I initially was into it but it got old really fast... as in episode two. I am surprised to find Wayward Pines got a second season. I found this show to be one torturous episode after another but I guess that is just me.

Bones to me is a given. It is up there with Supernatural in seasons. They are both in their 11th and apparently going on 12. They are both good shows and I haven't found it necessary to chuck either. Part of me believes a show has a natural course and it ends before a 10th season but I feel both shows have at least come up with decent storylines... Bones more than Supernatural. However, both shows have made it so fans are so wrapped up in the characters that it will be a very sad day when the shows end.

I'm really pleased that both Blindspot and Grimm have been considered a sure thing and a safe bet, especially since Grimm hasn't even come back yet. I'm really enjoying both shows so I'm excited to seem they will both likely have another season.

Heroes Reborn says it isn't likely to be renewed but I think that is just because it was supposed to be a 10 episode event anyway.

As for the CW, mostly I'm not suprised. Arrow is just a great show so I get why that is a sure thing. The Flash is rather good, not overwhelmingly so but it is a decent show and one I'm enjoying along with Arrow. Jane the Virgin isn't everyone's cup of tea but I find the show hilarious and highly entertaining so again, not at all surprised.

Reign surprises me a bit because all the hype I've heard makes it sound like it is the most watched show but even when I did watch it, I couldn't take it. Gave up a long time ago. The Originals does surprise me because I find it better than Vampire Dairies mostly because there are characters I count on to do the right or wrong thing whereas on Vampire I find myself wanting Damon to be good with that hint of bad and then being made when he does the wrong thing... or the right thing and no one agrees. Though it is possible with the departure of the Elena character that life in Mystic Falls is more interesting and less... me me me.

Again, Supernatural is a sure thing. But then how can one doubt Sam and Dean will be on our TV's until the end of time.

Feel free to share...

I'd like to say I'm surprised by the list but I'm not really. Maybe a bit mildly surprised by The Originals, but only slightly. It tends to be a lot of the same - especially where Klaus is concerned. I think, for some, the fact he never changes his behavior is getting old fast.

Supernatural being a sure thing - surprises me a little too - just in the fact I recall the early days when it was never a sure thing, but a rapid fan base definitely appears to help keep it going.

Castle - not really surprised. As much as I love Nathan I stopped watching at the beginning of the season he missed the wedding and came back with no memory. I think it's lost it's sparkle and to some extent is much of the same thing. A shame, not because I think it's a great show, but a shame for Nathan if it's cancelled.

A fair amount of those I've not watched. I am happy about Wayward Pines, unlike you, I really enjoyed and curious to see where it goes.

Oh poor Damon. The guy can't win. You want him a bit bad, which means he will ultimately do the wrong thing, because that is what bad guys do and you get mad at him. I do agree with the whole when he does the right thing, even if it results in him having to do a bad thing for the right reason, everyone is all over him for doing it. I adore Damon and feel no matter what he does he ultimately can't do right by those around him. I'll be posting shortly my own thoughts on SPN and TVD so far.

LOL Imagining Dean and Sam still hunting when they are 80 lol.

I see that about the Originals but I tend to really love it. But I get it.

Part of me is hugely surprised they want to keep SPN going for so long but at the same time not considering the fans. I've been enjoying the new season so we'll see...

Well, yes. Last seasons no memory thing was annoying. If they'd resolved things more quickly then it wouldn't have been so bad but I feel they never resolved it. And this seasons split between Castle and Beckett is just stupid. I would feel bad for Nathan but that is about it... though I think now Nathan will be fine... he kind of seems like the most popular guy in Hollywood. LOL

Really? Well then I'm happy for you that Wayward Pines is being renewed.

I tend to feel the same way about Damon. I want good but I like his bad moments. And then the whole ripping out the heart of the heretic... totally right thing but everyone being mad is dumb. Part of it is that Damon is impulsive but then I think even human he was like that.

Can't wait to hear what you think!

LOL Well, when I'm 80 I'll still want to swoon over Sam and Dean. LOL

Yes, will see with SPN.

Nathan will land on his feet I'm sure of that.

As Damon once said, he's a vampire...A predator and a killer. Hard to expect him to be a gentle puppy. I like it when he's bad and I like that he isn't always apologetic for it because he's bad. I hated how tame they made him because of Elena.

LOL You and me both.

Nathan will definitely land on his feet.

True, but he's also a man and men will do stupid things for a girl. But then I didn't mind. I actually feel like Damon has grown a lot as a being of any kind. He's still impulsive and frankly bad at times but he cares about a handful of people which is also nice.

Yes, it's nice he cares. I especially loved him last week and what he was willing to give up for helping Stefan.

I agree with you about Castle, this separation stuff needs to end.

Well, then I won't watch Minority Report, the teasers made it look kind of silly to me though.

I can't explain why enjoy Jane the Virgin as much as I do, but I'll def keep watching.

I was ready for Supernatural to end after season 10 too, but I'm not complaining.

Really does.

I was interested for about 5 minutes.

OH my goodness. I can't explain it either... well it is funny. I love Jane the Virgin and I can't get enough.

LOL Me either. I love those boys.

There is something very sweet with Jane the Virgin, and I feel it's rare to find on TV right now.
Jill aka Josireesanwar on November 17th, 2015 09:52 pm (UTC)
So true.
