Showtime... What I've Watched....

Britain is in the grip of a chilling recession... falling wages, rising prices, civil unrest - only the bankers are smiling. It's 1783 and Ross Poldark returns from the American War of Independence to his beloved Cornwall to find his world in ruins: his father dead, the family mine long since closed, his house wrecked and his sweetheart pledged to marry his cousin. But Ross finds that hope and love can be found when you are least expecting it in the wild but beautiful Cornish landscape.

This just started on Masterpiece PBS but I've already seen it and I adored every moment of it. It reminds me of Downton Abbey just a bit but this takes place in the early 1800s. It is just wonderful. There is a lovestory element but it is just Ross doing the right thing for those around him. This is a story that has been done before and it is part of once popular book series. I read the first couple of books before giving up because they weren't quite my thing... but I love the story and this is worth the watch.

Kind of sad by how repetetive things have gotten and that neither Sam nor Dean have figured out that sometimes things just have to end a little badly for the greater good. But the idea that Dean was believing Sam and he were evil was just bull crap to the ninth degree. I'm glad the mark is gone if only because we don't have to deal with everyone wondering if Dean is going to flip out on them but at the same time it was nice knowing Dean wasn't going to die.

Outlander ended just as it was supposed too though no matter how much I love the show I'm not sure I loved how much of the rape scene they showed. I wanted less of that and more of the recovery and aftermath. Just too much violence and I'm a person who is okay with a good amount of violence.

I love that despite all that has happen, the show was able to end on a positive note though I'm not that happy we have to weight another 6-8 months. *sigh* Droughtlander is so long.

I love this show and part of me always wants to love Klaus but he's such an ass! I mean no matter what happens he always does the wrong thing and it is really crazy. I mean killing Michael because he wants too. I hated Michael too but he knew it would really put a nail in the coffin of his relationship with Freya. I mean they didn't trust each other anyway but why not make sure she'll turn on you.

And then Elijah and Rebekah try to go around him by staking him. Makes sense. He's doing everything in his power to make everyone suffer which includes making Haley wolf curse come back meaning she's only human on a full moon. This means those wolves are going to really come after everyone on that full moon but Klaus doesn't care, he wants what he wants. That child of his will learn to loath him.

Granted in the end he was faking out everyone and Cami came into tell everyone because she and Klaus have this twisted relationship where they want each other but Klaus is so screwed up he knows he'll just hurt her and Cami wants to save his abused tortured inner child but Klaus pretends he doesn't have one even though he's clearly been stereotyped and fits it to a T.

And then everyone is surprised that Klaus was really on their side. STUPID. Why because this always happens and Klaus is so arrogant to think he can't let anyone in on anything that is happen. Frustrating. I would love to see Klaus be less of a dick.

So many people didn't enjoy this show but I think, aside from Outlander, it is my new favorite. It does have the Telanovella feel but it is hilarious and really made me invested in Jane and her family. Sometimes narrated stories are annoying but this is an exception because the narrators comments cane be so hilarious it isn't even funny.

I loved the twist at the end where Jane's baby isn't a girl but a little boy. We knew from the beginning that Jane was going to have a baby so they really changed it up by surprising us with a boy after being told it was a girl. And she named the baby after her Grandfather, Mateo, which I love!

Another great moment was that Jane was in labor riding the bus and everyone on the bus got so involved and they were making sure Jane got to the hospital. When Jane left that bus you felt like she'd made friends.

I love Rogelio. He's the very into himself father who thinks Jane is absolutely perfect because she's his daughter. But Rogelio has his insecure moments and his celebrity name dropping. I adore him. And we found out that Xio and he got married in Vegas which is when the narrator says Zoinks! LOL

I love Jane. She's so funny! She's that girl you want to be friends with. And Rafael is so cute with her but I don't want that to go belly up. I loved them together until he went and ruined it because he was upset about his mother. Michael is probably the only character I don't love but when I do it is because he's not with Jane.

But in the end, the baby is abducted from the hospital from who I believe is Sin Nostro which really upsets me because that is just too wrong. Still it leaves next season wide open for good stuff. I'm excited and can't wait!

I love this. It is a different take on the Zombie idea. It is a fascinating show and one I really enjoyed both the French version and the American one. Victor is really creepy but I love the story between Simon and Rowen. I've only made it through half the episode and look forward to seeing if some things will be different in coming episodes.

That Camille's twin got so sick really intrigues me. I need to watch more.

I was in love with this show. I mean I found it free on Prime and I was just devouring it. And then I was almost through the 3rd season when Prime decided this wasn't a show you got to watch with your service. So pissed. I think I was at the one with Allison's baby shower and she and Jack become connected. I liked it. I was loving all the characters. I even liked the new one... Tess. I mean I do want Allison and Jack to end up together but Allison didn't jump at the chance and now Tess is there. I'm betting something happens there to stop that but I have to get the other episodes before I can finish the series.

So the Arrow isn't the Arrow anymore? I don't get it. How will that happen? We find out Olive isn't working for Raz and he is, in fact, still himself which is good to know. But now everyone is a super hero and I don't want to watch the Thea show or the Nessa show... or for that matter the Laurel show. I like Oliver and I was fine when Ray joined up but I miss the old gang. I do like in the end Felicity and Oliver got to drive off into the sun set and he's Raz now so he can really do as he wants. Poor Ray's heart is broken just a little and then he blows up???? Well, I'm positive he's not dead but still way to shock us to the core. I love this show.

I said I wouldn't watch it. I started it like 2 years ago and just felt sick at what this show had going on. Seems like the first episodes are just about Jason's sexcapades. I didn't need to see that and then the show got more interesting which is what I discovered after finding it free on Prime and picked up where I left off.

Season One: So there is a killer in Bon Temps and Jason thinks he's the killer when the woman he's been duped into falling in love with dies in his bed while he's hopped up on V. I liked who it ended up being but seriously the man had issues.

Tara just has issue after issue which just seems sad. I get she had a crap childhood but what is her deal. I don't like her much and it is all to do with how bitchy she is.

I don't get why everyone loves Sookie.

Season Two: The whole disappearance of Godric and Jason going a cult was just so ridiculous and yet I found myself interested. And then there was the crap with Maryann which I knew was bad news the moment she showed up and boy wasn't she ever. The only thing I liked about this storyline was we got more Sam who is the guy I'm picking on this show. I dislike both Bill and Eric immensely. Bill proposed and Sookie had a meltdown that seemed odd but decided five minutes later to say yes, which I was against but Bill is kidnapped. Good riddance.

Season Three: Eggs dies. So sad. I liked him and hoped he's be able to get over Maryann's influence and what she made him do. So sad. But then Tara pulls a bone head move and goes off with Franklin and ends up his victim. Damn it, Tara.  You should have stuck with Sam. I liked him and you two were cute. But then Franklin is crazy! I did think they'd push Tara an Jason together as some point but after she found out he killed Eggs... nope.

Then there is the whole Fairy thing which is a let down but at the same time kind of interestings. I liked that while Sookie was searching for Bill she was cozy with Alcide. Forget Bill and Eric. Go for Alcide. Damn that boy is hot. I still love Sam but I adore Alcide.

I loved the whole Jessica and Hoyt story and really wanted them together.

I didn't like Crystal and the whole werepanther story seemed out there but then so is this show.

Season Four: I'm not finished but where I'm at is with Marnie being taken over by Antonia which admittedly has every right to be upset witch or no. I find it a little odd all this is happening but these Vamps deserve the hate because they've been awful.

Sookie comes back from Faerie with her grandfather who then dies. So sad. I wanted him to be on a little longer. The Fae aren't all that great.

Bill is King of Louisiana which is crazy and I don't get at all how there monarchy works because he's a baby compared to some of the other vamps.

Eric has amensia and now Sookie loves him. ICK! I don't like Eric. I want to. But there is just something I hate about him. Remember he imprisoned Lafayette.

Lafayette is now under the influence of the crazy ghost that burned down Arlene and Terry's house and is doing all kinds of other spooky things.

Jessica just broke it off with Hoyt and then went to Jason who threw her out. Good for him! But then Jason was held against his will too and raped though he doesn't seem phased by it at all.

Andy is a V addict.

Oh Sam. I forgot. All the crap with his family. I actually felt bad for his brother but not this season. What an ass. I like the shifter Sam is dating but I've only gotten as far as him meeting her ex which is the Alpha of the new Pack Deb and Alcide joined. And Alcide is going out to save Sookie when he promised not too. OOOOH. I love him.

The End. WOW. More to come....
