Book Description:
Adria, wolf changeling and resilient soldier, has made a break with the past—one as unpredictable in love as it was in war. Now comes a new territory, and a devastating new complication: Riaz, a SnowDancer lieutenant already sworn to a desperate woman who belongs to another.

For Riaz, the primal attraction he feels for Adria is a staggering betrayal. For Adria, his dangerous lone-wolf appeal is beyond sexual. It consumes her. It terrifies her. It threatens to undermine everything she has built of her new life. But fighting their wild compulsion toward one another proves a losing battle.

Their coming together is an inferno…and a melding of two wounded souls who promise each other no commitment, no ties, no bonds. Only pleasure. Too late, they realize that they have more to lose than they ever imagined. Drawn into a cataclysmic Psy war that may alter the fate of the world itself, they must make a decision that might just break them both.

My Thoughts About the Book:
Singh Psy-Changeling series is one of my favorite supernatural romance series. The characters are so interesting and Singh is constantly weaving an overall arch while still giving us answers and progress on those archs. The man thing I've loved in recent book is the continuation of the stories from previous books. We get to see other characters continued stories like Sienna and Hawke in this book.

But Singh is also so good at bringing the story back to the character's the book were written for and this one is no exception. Adria and Riaz have a wonderful story where we find out Riaz has already found his mate only she's married and in love with another man. What I loved most about this story is Riaz was able to move on and find true happiness with another knowing the woman his wolf believes is his mate is happy.

I'm hoping we'll learn later that Riaz and Adria end up becoming official mates but either way I'm very happy with the turn out of this story and the beautiful relationship between two dominant personalities.

And if that wasn't good enough, Singh teased us with a last chapter which suggests we'll finally get the story we've been waiting for.

The Series: List at Goodreads.
