25 Days of Christmas: Movie Time!
Okay so I love Christmas movies, I don't even care how cheesy they are.  One I really love and I will say it every year because of the sheer fun and childlike nature of the movie is Elf!

I'm particularly fond of this scene:

Another movie that isn't a romantic comedy or a classic but one I love a lot around his time of year is The Santa Clause with Tim Allen:

Since a child, we'd pull out our favorite Christmas movies (Miracle on 34th Street, Santa Claus the Movie, The Night They Saved Christmas, The Grinch, and more I'm sure) and systematically watch them throughout our Christmas vacation from school. The Night They Saved Christmas was always our Christmas Eve movie.

Now though, two of my favorite silly movies at Christmas time are Elf and The Santa Clause. Do you have any favorite silly modern Christmas movies you try to watch every year?

I love the movie about Ralphie and the gun he wants for Christmas...A Christmas Story. Now Sam Heughan's A Princess for Christmas has become another favorite. The entire movie is on YouTube. Here's the trailer.

I've never liked A Christmas Story but that is just me. I'm glad you enjoy it.

I have seen A Princess for Christmas and while it is sweet, not a favorite despite Sam's presence. However, should it be on, I'll likely watch it. LOL

Gosh, I think you're the only person I've ever heard of who doesn't like A Christmas Story. It's one of my husband's favorite movies. The actress and kids in A Princess for Christmas are terrible actors. Sam is good, as are the actors who play the staff and the actress who plays Sam's girlfriend. I only watch it because of Sam.

Actually most of my family isn't into that movie. I don't know why but it just isn't a favorite among my family. But then, it's okay. I'm glad you and most of my friends here enjoy watching it.

Yes, that would be why I watch A Princess for Christmas too. *teehehe*
