What The Frick Friday: Viper Venom
My favorite author Diana Gabaldon posted this on Facebook and I had to share because it really is shocking. I have to admit I never thought this is what venom did to a person. If you are squemish don't watch it.

Also, I am planning on starting a new weekly post (or as weekly as I manage) called WTF (What The Frick - because that is the way I like it) Friday which I planned to be mostly funny things but sometimes it is going to be shocking things. So here is the first of those new posts.

I think I'm going to be ill.

I like snakes. And it's just getting the venom, to get an antidote. Poor snake. They get a bad rep for looking like they do. And not all snakes are poisonous.

It is but did you see what it does to our blood??? Crazy.

No not all snakes are poisonous but I still don't like snakes. Ick.

I like snakes, too, because I'm a gardener and they eat lots of things that are bad for gardens. However, I don't live where there are any poisonous snakes.

We only get rattlesnakes but they are bad enough. Especially since the hospitals are 30 minutes in either direction. My grandmother was bitten and she had problems until the day she died.
