25 Days of Christmas: You can make ornaments from almost anything...
14th I've always liked Christmas crafts though I've not really made one in a while. One of my favorite things as a kid was making ornaments which usually ended up being gifts for people outside of the home but here are a few ideas.

I found this video and thought wouldn't it be awesome to have an ornament made out of an old copy of your favorite book (Outlander). I'm really going to have to try this but can't really bring myself to cute up a copy of Outlander.

But then when I said you can make and ornament out of almost anything what did I mean? How about cute toys you've had since you were a kid.

I've had this Curious George for awhile now and he just sits around gathering dust and he came with a hook attached. Why not just put him on my Christmas tree?

What about your favorite little toys. Some have clips already but others... see that Felix the Cat in the middle. It is plush. All you have to do is sew sturdy thread through the top and add a hook. On the tree he goes. I'm not sure small plastic toys are an option, but if you can think of a way to hang them, let me know.

You can even take some pine cones spray them with glue and add glitter and salt (snow). There are so many things out there that can be turned into an ornament. Feel free to share any ornaments you've made with me. I'd love to see them.

Just tie some ribbon or yarn or even thread around some part of a hard plastic toy and you've got a loop to either put on the tree or hook onto a hook.

Yes, for some of them that will work and I've been able to do that. Not always though. Still it is a great suggestion.
