Christmas Meme: 25 Days of Christmas - Ornaments
4th A great memory I have of childhood was our Christmas ornaments. None of these Christmas bulbs and sparkly stuff. We had personalized ornaments and every year we got new ones. When I was a kid I remember that not only did Hallmark have ornaments every year but McDonald's often had something special. A few I loved and owned...
I loved these ornaments as a kid and some of them made noise as I recall. I don't know what happened to these ornaments. My mom gave all of us our ornaments when we were on our own but she couldn't find mine. Very sad.

I've pieced together a collection over the years but it is rather small. I'd hoped to add this ornament this year but can't find him anywhere...
Always loved The Brave Little Tailor cartoon.

I hope one day I can help my kids gather all these little memories in the form of a yearly Christmas ornament.

I remember Polly Pockets. I think they were a little young for me when they came out but my sister liked them.

well i am a few years younger than you, but i was absolutely obsessed with them. so much so that for my 8th b-day i had a polly pocket cake! it had an actual polly pocket on it and was covered in icing.

8th birthday was the most memorable. Consisted of a polly pocket cake and a Pocahontas puzzle that was also my birthday card...so I had to put it together to decode the message. #memories #nostolgia

Sounds fun.

My sister had many a cake decked out like that.

Mine were different as a kid. My mom once made a cake that looked like a Cheeseburger and then there was the Castle with mote and dragons... that was my favorite.
