HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Did you do something spooky?! (I handed out candy, looking like someone out of a 1920s summer day at the beach. *grin*) Thank you for the pumpkin cookie! ♥

If you consider watching Paranormal Activity 3 spooky. I was a little freaky at times though I think the first one is still the scariest. Also watched some freaky ghost story shows and was nervous about the dark after that. I think that means the evening was successful.

I do wish we lived where we got Trick or Treaters. Not a one.

What a fun costume. A costume I saw on TV and loved is this...

It was such a cute costume.

Yay! That sounds like so much fun! We don't get a lot of Trick or Treaters, but enough to hand out candy. (I wish we got more! But because we don't get many the kids who do stop by get a ridiculous amount of candy. *g*) And we love to decorate the house and everything. I must say I really miss doing Halloween movie nights though, which is hard to do while waiting for kids. (It would scare the pants off me, I get jittery so easily. hehe)

Oh my god, a Lucille Ball costume. Or is it a Rosie the Riveter costume? Either way, I love that. I'd love to wear that costume! So cute.

Okay and totally random question. You have an awesome Firefly Mal gif on the right-hand column, but it's not from Firefly. (He's whipping his gun out and leaping into a woman's room. *g*) Where is that from? *super curious*

We get zero zilch as in none. I hate that. Really want to hand out candy. I can understand the knocks freaking you out but if you give a good scream you'll scary the kids too. How fun!

We used to decorate our house to the nines. My mom put out graves and webs and we had this little decked alcove as you came up to the door and she'd put a man with a pumpkin head and a pot that had dry ice in it... all very creepy. Plus she had this Halloween tape that she'd play with creepy noises. Loved it.

My favorite was that at the end our our hallway like entryway she's hang clearish plastic and then put candles behind it and it looked a little like fire. Freaky.

I think it is Rosie the Riveter but either way I just love it.

That is okay. And feel free to grab said gif. It is from Castle. I think it was the second Halloween episode they did and he came out of his office to show his daughter his costume and she asks him what he's supposed to be and he's like "Space Cowboy?" It was so great! And somewhere on the shelf behind him is a small ship from Firefly. Don't know if it is Serenity though. Also he mentions Serenity a few times throughout the show. He's clearly a fan himself.

I know what you mean. I'd love to get more kids. I'd hate not to get any! (I'd feel bad for scaring the kids any more than their alarm at the decorations, as half the kids we get are only 4-6 years old.

Your mom's decorations sound fabulous! We have a full-sized zombie and ghoul, pumpkins, bat-shaped lights, and smaller witches that creep about the bushes. Every year we try expanding a little more. I need to get music one year! It's something I forget until it's too late. *g*

Okay, that. is. brilliant. Thank you! Castle is a show I keep meaning to watch, but don't quite get to. I want to see it just because I love Nathan, but everyone I know loves it!

Yes, I wouldn't want to terrify the really young kids but the older kids are far game.

I even found a tutorial online about how to make your own ghost so people think it is a ghost from afar. How fun.

Oh you have to watch it but I'll tell you, you will get hooked. It is a great show and it is Nathan! So worth every moment which is why today is going to be great because a new episode! Woot!

Yay! A ghost would be fun to set up. :D They seem so tricky to do, you know?

I'm actually a little afraid to start Castle because I just know I'm going to love it and ... then I'll have to see it all! Which means I need to have time to see it. lol

I found the making of the ghost here.

LOL Yeah that is the problem. My theory is if you are going to love it just buy it. LOL
