Sabine, Sorceress of Illusions: the evil beauty who surrenders her body, but not her heart.
Rydstrom Woede: the ruthless warrior who vows to keep her at all costs.
THEY WERE NEVER SUPPOSED TO WANT EACH OTHER THIS MUCH...
With each smoldering encounter, their shared hunger only increases. If they can defeat the sinister enemy that stands between them, will Sabine make the ultimate sacrifice for her demon? Or will the proud king lay down his crown and arms to save his sorceress?
What did you think of the book? (Why this book?, New Author? Read more by author? Keeping? Thoughts on Hero? Heroine?)
Okay first, I totally read these out of order. I was supposed to read Dark Desires After Dusk but when you are on your Kindle you can't tell which book comes next. I don't think I messed up anything too much except that Cadeon explains in this book what happened in his book and how he fixed things. Oh well.
Kresley Cole has a wicked streak. I'm sure of it. Her books are so steamy and I adore the characters even if at times what they are kind of freaks me out a bit. Still Rydstrom is big and bold and so awesome. I loved him and his honest ways. I also loved that he was totally willing to give as good as he got.
Sabine was a fun character. She was just funny enough to be entertaining and not annoying. I did kind of love that she had Rydstrom at her mercy in the beginning but I loved that she ended up getting her just rewards. *lol* Okay and the sisterly bond is great but I'm rather looking forward to Lanthe's book.
Really good. Steamy. And so fun.
