Full Lunar Winter Soltice Eclipse...
I couldn't stay up and watch this because I was already exhausted from not getting a good night sleep on Sunday night. Still I did go out and see part of it and it was really neat to see. Did you know...

This was apparently the first eclipse that occurred on a winter solstice since 1632, so those of you who stayed up late saw a very rare event indeed.

That is amazing! I wish I could have seen it, but it was daylight here and cloudy.

We couldn't see it very well because it was cloudy too. We did get to see a little of it a few times because the clouds moved but it wasn't going to be a great show here. Still I'm glad they have this sped up video so we can see it. It's just so awesome (in the true sense of the word).

I stayed up and set my alarm, but it was cloudy and there was no way to see it. Made me really sad inside.

I know. Me too. I'm glad it got recorded though. Better than nothing.

Yeah it was very cloudy here. We couldn't see it ourselves and again really tired. So it was nice to see the video. It would have been better to actually see it but such is life.
