Toy Story 3

Movie:
Toy Story 3

Thoughts: I actually liked it, but then I also liked the second one. I mean sure it isn't the same as the first movie but it is still pretty good and one of the only sequel cartoon movies I enjoy. They jokes were cute, including Buzz's reset button and Spanish mode. I will say this though, one of the reason I don't like baby dolls. I'm serious. They are creepy. And until this movie franchise, I never thought of toys, teddy bears or any other inanimate object coming alive. I'm not sure I'm grateful for that or not. Furthermore, I will now have more trouble getting rid of any old toys in my possession for fear they believe I've abandoned them. I kid... or maybe not.

Message: Is the message that children can be creative with almost any toy they have? Is it about family sticking by each others side and taking care of one another? Maybe, I'm reading into it but I think that is a little of what was coming across.

Recommendation: See it. In theaters is up to you. The 3D aspect was good but have you ever noticed how when watching a movie that is completely in 3D you tend to ignore that and just watch. I don't think the 3D is necessarily important but to each there own. If you can wait, I would recommend it. It will make for a fun movie night with the family.

Thanks. I adore this header. I snagged it from a friend, so you are more than welcome to go for it. Credit is on my profile.

I think I'm a purist. *lol* I really loved the first one. I still prefer it. But the second one was great. I enjoyed it a lot. I think the third was my least favorite but still a really good sequel when you take into account sequels like Return of Jafar or Cinderella 2. *shudders* Sometimes Disney just needs to know when to quit.

My dad and I saw this on father's day and I really, really enjoyed it. I almost felt it was on par with the original and I loved everything related to Buzz's spanish mode :) The rest of the jokes were great too and I found myself laughing most of the way through.

I will say this though, one of the reason I don't like baby dolls. I'm serious. They are creepy.

UGH YES. I also wanted to cry because that baby looked so pitiful and it just made quite depressed whenever he was on! His poor little eye being all messed and especially when you saw him sitting out on the swing watching the sky. I was creeped out and incredibly saddened by it all.

I secretly agree with this!

The 3D aspect was good but have you ever noticed how when watching a movie that is completely in 3D you tend to ignore that and just watch.

I agree. I saw this in 3d and after ten minutes I had forgotten it was in 3d. I honestly don't feel it adds or subtracts from the film overall but I can see the appeal for kids.

It had some pretty cute jokes. Spanish mode Buzz was just fantastic.

I did feel a little bad for the baby but was far too creeped out to want to think more about it.

Right! I mean I look at my old stuffed Bunny and think.... does he think I don't love him? I mean I know logically that they can't think but the movie makes you wonder. *see icon*

3D is pointless to me. Unless there are major moments where it is obvious then there is no reason for it except to make us pay more to see the movie.

Saw it for the second time today. Loved it. Love Barbie and Ken! Big Baby was very creepy! We saw it the first time in 3D and today not. Gotta say the 3D is great for clarity, but in a way I agree, it really didn't have a lot of noticeable come at you stuff, but I don't think a lot of the 3D stuff does now, but that may be because it is becoming old hat. Totally cried the first time and almost did again tonight even though I knew what was going on. But then I'm pretty pathetic and I cry at stuff a lot.

Barbie and Ken were pretty funny. I loved her torture technique with him.

3D is good for clarity but I feel like it is still pointless to some degree.

I cried too. I mean I'm an emotional person so if it is close to touching or sad... I'm crying.
