Fantastic Mashed Potatoes
2 1/2 lbs. cooked, peeled, mashed potatoes (About 7 - 8 medium potatoes)
4oz. pkg. cream cheese (1/2 an 8oz pack)
1/2 cup half & half
1/2 cube butter
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/2 tsp. season salt
Salt & pepper to taste
Wash, peel and cube potatoes.
Boil on high for 10 minutes or until they fall apparent when you stick a fork in them.
Drain and mash.
Add butter and cream cheese (heat will help them melt).
Add all other ingredients and mix well.
9x9 casserole pan. (Doubling works in a 13x9 pan.)
Put in refrigerator, or will freeze.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
Make them Loaded:
Mix in following ingredients before putting in a casserole dish.
1 cup cheddar cheese (or as much as desired)
1 bunch (about 4 stalks) of green onions (or as much as desired)
4-5 strips of bacon cooked and cut up (or as much as desired)
Tips:
Use cooking scissors to cut the onions and bacon up.
