Things about Movie/TV
Cancellations and Renewals
  • Medium was canceled but CBS pays for it anyway so they are picking it up! Woo!
  • Dollhouse was renewed for 13 eps... I can deal.
  • Castle - 13 eps... okay.
  • Supernatual! Woot!
  • Smallville - seriously? Okay... I do want to know about Zod but please make Clark less self righteous and whiny.
  • Bones is returning
  • Cupid got canceled and while it wasn't the best show out there I was enjoying it.
  • Fringe is returning though I no longer watch it.
  • Ghost Hunters & International is returing.
  • Heroes is coming back so maybe it will be better.
  • House is coming back which totally doesn't surprise me.
  • Lost is coming back... duh!
  • Prison Break is over and really it is a good thing.
  • Sanctuary is returning! Yay!
  • True Blood will be returning not that I watch but I know some of you want to know.
  • Terminator: SCC was canceled and that is what I'm most mad about because they went with Dollhouse over it and that is just dumb because they could have done both and I would probably rather have Terminator. Ah!
See movie poster for New Moon...

The problem with Terminator vs. Dollhouse is that Fox studio and Fox network are two different entities. Dollhouse is made by Fox network so all revenue (ads from live watching, iTunes sales, streaming online, DVD sales) go straight back to them. Terminator is made by Fox studios and Fox network has to pay for each episode. Which also means that only live watching gets the network money - Fox studio gets all the revenue from DVD sales, iTunes and online streaming. So weird as it seems given the numbers, Fox network is making more money from Dollhouse than they were from Terminator. So it makes sense that they'd keep it instead. Not that I'm HAPPY about that since I hate Dollhouse and loved Terminator, but at least I understand it. *sigh*

I'm happy about Castle and Fringe though.

YEah I guess but still.

So has Fringe really gotten better?

Yeah, I know.

Fringe has gotten better. At least I think so. It's definitely focused more on the mythology and we're learning a lot more about Olivia and Walter's past (and how it's actually shared a little). I find it interesting but it's not for everyone.

Hm... maybe someday I'll watch it again.
