A Little Help with iPods
My niece got an iPod shuffle and her stupid mother Synced it on her computer so I can't add anything she likes from my computer. Anyone had any suggestions? I don't want to delete what is on there... just want to add stuff.

I know a fair bit about iPods but not so much about the shuffle since I've never owned one.

Can't you connect it to your computer and manually select what she wants to add? that's what you do with any other iPod. There's a setting that either syncs it automatically or you can choose to do it manually so you have to choose each song.

Hopefully that works.

I can connect it to my computer and hope that it will work but it really won't. My stupid sister Her mother kind of set it or something so you use it on her computer whereas mine can be connected to any computer as long as it is set to manual.

I think the only real option is just to delete what is on there which isn't too much of a problem as Savannah doesn't like her mother's taste in music.

That's weird. I didn't think you could set ipods to be computer specific. If I were you I'd just wipe it and start over since Savannah doesn't want any of that music anyway.

Yeah it is weird. I think that is what I'm going to do.

Burn a cd and transfer the songs over to the other computer via the cd

Yes, that would be the best solution, if I were willing.

See the real issue that makes me made is that Savannah sees her mother once a week. Savannah's mother did it to try a control the present which is something she would do.

I think iTunes will delete the playlist currently on there and then I can put stuff she actually likes on the thing.
