Writers Strike
I don't know a lot about it but I get this. The writer's are taken for granted. Instead of make sure that the writers get paid for their work big companies are making the money and leaving the smart talented people that enabled them to make money in the lurch! If the big companies and networks were smart they'd agree and move on otherwise they'll lose more in the long run.

They are stoopid heads and should just pay them their cut. :P

Though I'm not thrilled with the strike (who is?) and I detest unions in most shapes and forms as they're hopelessly not needed in most cases (take auto workers for example), I do know the networks are greedy bastards who don't pay anyone what they deserve and try to force viewers to do things THEIR way without realizing times are changing.

I think other than the networks only actors get paid well (and even then, only movie stars) so it makes sense that all the other people who get taken for granted deserve more.

I only hope the strike can end soon!

I'm not a union fan either. I mean I see why they have them because in a lot of cases people need someone with power to back them up but in other cases they are a nuisance that not only take your money but can screw you over just as badly as an employer who is taking advantage of you.

I see the point of this. Those writers didn't even get their Emmys for the webisodes because NBC didn't want to pay for it. So stupid. These writers are what makes our show and they are being abused. But I too hope it ends soon.

Another instance of networks being jerks. Especially NBC.

I hope it ends soon as well.
