So I have [info]layout_lounge for my continuing need to change the look of LJ. *lol* I like making layouts. It's fun to me. It's also like a puzzle that works the brain. Anyways. I love doing it and so when [info]endless_reader asked me for one... I was happy to try. She gushed which made me happy. I like it when they are happy with art or layouts. [info]serenitysangel made the perfect header for it. You can see it here.

She sent me a virtual gift though. Talk about sweet! It really made me smile! So thanks so much [info]endless_reader !

I consider myself a nondenominational Christian or possibly Reformed. I don't always believe what other Christians believe but instead what the Bible tells me. I have a right to believe how I want as we were all given free will to choose our lives path. I simply chose to do as God asks in every way that I can.

1. I believe in one God, who is an omnipotent spirit, infinite, eternal, and unchangeable in his wisdom, power, holiness, goodness and truth.

2. I believe God created the universe and everything in it. Which means, yes, I believe in Creation but it is more plausible to me that bang.. everything started. I just don't have that much faith. I'm sure a lot don't agree and that is fine.

3. I believe that mankind chose to rebel against God, and that everyone of us sin. Yep, me too.

4. I believe because of our rebellion against God, we would be damned to eternal separation from our Creator if not for Jesus Christ, who I believe was born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus was crucified by men who turned away from the truth of God's Word. Jesus rose from the dead after three days and ascended into Heaven. Because of this we are saved. Jesus endured the pain of death to wash our sins away.

5. I believe that regardless of what Jesus did we will have to answer for everything we do. We just have the benefit as believers in him to be absolved of our transgressions.

6. I believe any sin is forgive in you trust in Christ and repent (truly in your heart).

7. I believe Jesus was perfect and sinless.

8. I believe in the Trinity: God the father, God's son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit.

9. I believe the Bible is the complete Word and Truth of God, written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit.

10. I believe the Bible is a history book.

11. I believe that believing in Christ is the only way to salvation and eternal life.

12. I believe God gave us dominion over the Earth and the animals therein. But this does not mean we should continually destroy what God gave us. Nor do I believe that having dominion over an animal give you the right to mistreat it.

13. I believe in the death penalty as God states it is the punishment for murder. It is just the punishment that the legal system should apply not an individual.

14. I believe abortion is the destruction of an innocent soul (a form of murder).

15. I believe marriage is between one woman and one man. (I know this a subject of much controversy but I have a right to my beliefs... please see 16.)

16. I believe that while I have the right to believe as I do, also do other of the world. Which means if I don't agree with you we can talk about it but I have no intention of hating you for your beliefs because I would view that as being a poor witness to my own religion.

Okay so I have another question about iPod before I commit... hey I'm just doing all my homework! Anyways, I have a bunch of songs I got places other than iTunes, can these be put onto the iPod? I'd heard they couldn't but I don't think that person has a Pod so I'm thinking they could be wrong of there is something out there to change that...

Okay, one of you made me sick! Who was it? *pointing fingers* I know I'm kidding but I feel like crap! I woke up and thought that because it was so dark it meant I got to sleep for a while longer... rest need rest... but it was only dark because it is all gloomy and rainy. *sobs* I want sleep... chicken soup and sleep...

I also wonder if any of you movie lovers know of any good 18th Century Period Movies? I can only think of...
Pride and Prejudice (sp?)
Emma
Sense and Sensibility

What others are there? Please help...

Wood Pellets: a type of wood fuel, generally made from compacted sawdust. They are usually produced as a by product of sawmilling and other wood trasformation activities.

So what happens when someone pays mills not to cut down trees. A pellet shortage. Without the lumber we don't have the sawdust to make pellets and people all over the US are cold.

Normally, at this time of the year the tempature is in the 50s where I am, even and night, but lately we've been dropping into the 10s and 20s. It's freezing and my pellet stove is the only source of heat I have. I can't afford to buy electric heaters because the ones that were $50 last year are now $100 because of demand. And those little $100 dollar heaters won't heat a house. It is so stupid. People don't understand the effect something as simple as not cutting down a tree can have.

Now, I'm not saying we should go out and cut down every tree we can. There are trees that grown in the span of a year which are better suited for these things. Plant... let it grow and make sure people like me don't have to stand in front of their stove for warmth.

Wood has been the main source of heat for years. People don't seem to understand that. Instead they think cutting down any tree is aweful. I love trees. I like sitting under them and I think we should make sure we leave as many as we can whether we have to plant them constantly or not. Still I've always enjoyed not freezing to death. Like to live to a ripe old age instead of being found in my house covered in ice.

What happens if the tempature drops further?

My nieces is having a "Fiesta" for her birthday party and she wants a really neat invitation made up for her. I was hoping someone might point me in the right direction for graphics.
Thanks

Okay so my car has a few things that need to be replaced for a grand total (with labor) of $145. Not too bad. Not what I wanted to spend $145 on but not bad.

They I took this quiz.... I mean really... Prancer?
You Are Prancer
You are the perfect reindeer, with perfect hooves and perfect flying form. Why You're Naughty: Because you're Santa's pet, and you won't let anyone show you up. Why You're Nice: You have the softest fur and the sweetest carrot breath.

So because my Outlander ring was rather big, I stopped by the local jeweler to see what was to be done about it. She was concerned her husband could mess up the design until I pointed out the size bar on the back. She then proceeded to gush over how beautiful the pattern is and forced me to tell her what books series it was from. Because truly, I never tell people about the books. *giggle*

So it will cost me $39 on top of the $60 I paid for the ring for a downsize with a touch up on the antiquing. To top off this experience, she tells me it could take until the 5th! 2 weeks without my ring! I'm mortified! Though she told me about 16 times how beautiful the pattern was and how much she loved my ring. Still... it does need to fit for me to wear it. I'd just die if I lost it.

Stitch is Love!

Sorry I had to put that. I found this Stitch pictures and it was just too cute.

Really I was writing because I was wondering if any of you know of an awesome scary or ghost movie? Every Halloween I get together with some people and we rent a freaky movie. Last year we watched The Amityville Horror. The new on with Ryan Reynolds. I have to say he freaked me out in that movie even if he's a cutie.

The year before that we watched some horrible movie with Aiden Quinn in it. I don't remember the title but it was about a house and you come to find out the people in the house are dead. Very "The Others" only really dumb.

So if you've watched anything that is just a good Thriller or has an awesome scare to it... let me know. I've seen a lot but I'm very willing to take suggestions.
