Children's Book
What was your favorite children's book when growing up? Why was it so special to you?

The reason I ask is because my cousin is having a baby shower and her idea is to have all the guests bring a book they are willing to give up but I don't have a lot of children's books I will give up so I'm wondering about what were favorites to you. Any age because she's building a library for over her little girl's years.

A book I really loved as a kid was Imogen's Antlers. It is about a little girl who wakes up with antlers and her family is just crazed to get rid of them. They trying everything and finally come to the conclusion that there is nothing that can be done. Then the next morning she wakes and they are gone, but when she goes downstairs to show everyone they are shocked because now she has peacock feathers. I remember loving this book so much. I bought it for my niece and she loved it.

Also, there was a small book call Monster at the End of the Book. It was a Sesame Street book with Grover. The entire time you read Grover is scared and trying to prevent you from turning the pages and getting to the monster at the end of the book but when you do get there... guess who the monster is?

Those are two I plan on getting for my new cousin but I need some more suggestions.
